Valley Riding, Inc. a non-profit affiliate of Cleveland Metroparks, was formed in 1991. We manage both Rocky River and Brecksville Stables. Both stables are located in the park system and are directly connected to bridle trails along the Emerald Necklace. Valley Riding employs professional and certified riding instructors to provide English riding lessons, therapeutic riding lessons, as well as, pony and horse camps. Other services include horse boarding and educational tours. We also provide riding opportunities for underserved populations through partnerships with Cleveland Metroparks, public schools, and urban community youth programs. The backbone of many of our programs are our volunteers. From side
walking with the Therapeutic Riding Program, to helping the pony
campers saddle their ponies, volunteers are a critical part of Valley
Riding.
