English Riding - Beginner I Class

Available for adults and children of at least 8 years of age; group size averages six riders of similar ability per group. We teach beginner through advanced English Riding with an emphasis on a balanced seat position.

For students new to the program who have had no formal instruction or have taken our Pony Camp, Horse Camp, or Beginner Horsemanship courses.

Students who have had English riding instruction at another facility or at Valley Riding and are NOT currently enrolled in a class should consult with an instructor for appropriate placement.

Students currently enrolled in a group should turn in a waiver/release by the 10th lesson to reserve a slot in the next session. Check the schedules below for the session dates for your particular lesson day.

Private & semi-private lessons are available on a limited basis.

Cost: $250 for 10 consecutive weeks (unless otherwise noted). Each lesson is 45 minutes long; no refunds without a doctor's excuse. There will only be one make-up lesson given at the end of each session.
