MISSION STATEMENT:

To provide quality English horseback riding instruction to physically and mentally-challenged, as well as able-bodied children and adults and to educate the public to understand and appreciate horses in an urban setting.

Essay Contest

Valley Riding  is having an essay contest. The contest is going to be about "What the horses (or ponies) mean to you at Valley Riding". This contest will be broken up into two groups. One will be for the pony campers and one will be the 8 and older goup. The winner of each group will receive a navy blue Valley Riding hoodie. Entries must be in by 12:00PM Wednesday May 21 and the winners will be announced on Friday May 23. The essays will be judged on creativity and content. Good Luck and have fun!

Valley Riding, Inc, a non-profit affiliate of the Cleveland Metroparks, was formed in 1991.  We manage both Rocky River and Brecksville Stables.  Valley Riding employs professional and certified riding instructors to provide able-bodied and therapeutic riding lessons as well as pony and horse camps.  Other services include boarding, educational tours, and horse shows.  We also provide riding opportunities for underserved populations through partnerships with public schools and urban community youth programs and engage the community through numerous volunteer opportunities.

Valley Riding, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that relies on donations /(Wish LIst) from corporations, businesses, and individuals like you. The backbone of many of our programs are our volunteers. From side walking with the TRP program to helping the pony campers tack up their ponies, volunteers are a critical part of Valley Riding.
